Dr. Archana Giri has completed her Doctoral degree from premier CSIR Institute, Central Institute of Medicinal & Aromatic Plants (CIMAP), Lucknow in 1995, worked as Research Associate (CSIR), DST Young scientist, CSIR pool scientist before joining as Assistant Professor. Having twenty years of research experience including Eight years of PG teaching, she has number of research publications in International and National journals to her credit. She has active collaboration with NRC-PBI, Canada. Her research interests include Medicinal plant Biotechnology, Molecular Biology and Functional Genomics of Secondary metabolites of Pharmaceutical value. She is also working on Medicinal plant biodiversity for Gene discovery using Metabolic Engineering and Functional genomic approaches.
